SAWB is volunteer-run — no salaries, no office overhead. Donations may pay local organizers and coaches for the year-round work that keeps programs going.

Keep it going

Your gift keeps this going all year

SAWB is volunteer-run. Giving supports the local coaches and organizers leading programs here, the equipment their athletes need, and the cost of running leagues and clinics.

  • Local organizers and coaches

Trusted local leaders, compensated appropriately for their own economy, who identify needs, run activities and keep programs going all year.

  • Sports equipment

Gloves, balls, bats, kits, cleats and shoes — collected where we can, purchased where a program still has a gap.

  • Programs and leagues

The ordinary costs of play: field and gym time, referees, league and clinic materials, and the small things a season needs.

  • Getting gear where it's needed

Collection, storage, baggage, shipping and customs, so donated equipment actually reaches the athletes using it.

  • Project travel, only when it counts

Occasional SAWB travel when hands-on clinics, a delivery or a specific project genuinely calls for people on site — never as the default.
